His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme  Council and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, issued Emiri Decree No. (6) for the year 2020 regulating the procedures of force majeure implementation to support all members of society and alleviating the burdens of the current COVID19 virus.

Stipulating that, except for labour cases and personal cases, the  precautionary measures taken to counter the spread of the Coronavirus are an exceptional public action which the department judge execution  shall take the following procedures:

  • Postponing the enforcement of vacating the leased units for the purpose of housing (Residential units) 
  • Replace the debtor’s travel ban with his imprisonment.
  • Postponing the issuance of decisions to control and bring the debtors.
  • Stoping the procedures of executive attachment of movables, real estate, stocks and bonds.
